Gift giving and personalised wine bottles
Personalised wine bottles make wonderful gifts. They say something very special, so they can be used for many occasions.
On anniversaries it is especially nice to receive one of these personalised wine bottles. A first anniversary may have a message stating how wonderful the first year was. A tenth anniversary might inspire a saying indicating that one is looking forward to another ten years. And a fiftieth anniversary message may say that it could never have been so wonderful without that other person.
Birthdays and holidays are obvious occasions for a personalised wine bottle, which may indicate how old one is, or the year, for the birthday, and for the holidays, such as Thanksgiving, one might add a note saying how glad the giver of the bottle is to be sharing this joyous holiday.
For promotions a personalised wine bottle such as this is encouraging and supportive. For a thank you, or a peace treaty saying that one is sorry, a special personalised wine bottle such as this is comforting and appreciated. And if you really want to do something special for the person you have been waiting to go out with, perhaps one of these bottles on that first date would be nice. You can put a romantic saying on the label indicating the occasion of your first date. It shows you are hoping for a second one!
And when does one open this special gift? Well, these bottles are ornamental and can be displayed. Some wines improve with age, but some are intended for drinking reasonably soon after purchase. If you do not want to drink the wine but want to save it for another occasion, it may be best to ask about whether the type of wine can be aged successfully. Perhaps you would like to drink it on an anniversary of the date you received the bottle in the first place? Be sure to do your research about aging and storage.
Of course, if you want to keep it forever, it can stay in your wine rack and be a wonderful memory that will live on every time you reach for another bottle and see it there. One must remember that it should be horizontal on the wine rack and kept in a cool place to store correctly, just in case you ever do wish to drink it.
There is such as thing as keeping wine too long, as well. Or if it was not kept safe and cool, it could have some residue develop in the bottom of the bottle. At that point, it probably is not a good idea to drink it at all. You will not need to think much on this, as it will not look very appealing.
vOn some occasions, including those mentioned above, like birthdays, holidays and anniversaries, everyone may agree to open the personalised wine bottles right then and there. One cannot argue with that, as the wine would probably be great to drink at that time, would make the special occasion more enjoyable, and you could keep the bottle as a keepsake with your souvenirs or as a flower vase forever.
